Product Description
Zeolite ceramic balls are widely used adsorption materials in water purification and moisture control applications.
They are mainly composed of:
clinoptilolite (natural zeolite)
kaolin
The materials are processed through a low-temperature firing process at approximately 650°C, which helps preserve the natural adsorption performance of zeolite.
Due to its unique framework structure and coordination imbalance, zeolite can function as a cation exchange material, enabling it to adsorb:
polar organic compounds
unsaturated molecules
small molecular pollutants
Typical compounds that can be adsorbed include substances such as dichloromethane, chloroform, trichloroethane, tetrachloroethane and tribromoform.
The surface of the zeolite ceramic balls can also form a hydrated oxide layer, creating a negatively charged surface that improves the adsorption of heavy metal ions such as:
Pb²⁺
Cd²⁺
Cu²⁺
Zn²⁺
Ni²⁺
Cr²⁺
In wastewater treatment systems, zeolite ceramic balls can achieve ammonia nitrogen removal rates of more than 95% through ion exchange mechanisms.
Product Applications
Small particle zeolite ceramic balls are increasingly used as mineral desiccant materials due to their strong adsorption capacity.
Desiccant Packaging
They can effectively adsorb moisture and environmental humidity, helping protect products from moisture damage.
Industrial Moisture Control
Used in industrial packaging and storage systems where humidity control is required.
Water Treatment Systems
Zeolite ceramic balls can also be used in water purification systems to remove:
ammonia nitrogen
heavy metals
fluoride
organic pollutants
FAQ
Are 0.5 mm – 1 mm zeolite ceramic balls available in stock?
Yes. Approximately 500 kg is available in stock. For larger quantities, delivery time will depend on current inventory and production schedule.
Will smaller particle sizes increase the price?
For standard particle sizes the price is usually the same. For custom OEM specifications, pricing will be quoted based on specific production requirements.
